Bridging the Skill Gap Through Internships: Stakeholders Theory Perspective

The skill gap among the youth of today is widening and resulting in unemployability. It time to revisit education system work strategies develop employability skills students. One such strategy can be incorporating internships curriculum at undergraduate postgraduate levels across disciplines. While offering an internship course, it utmost importance that stakeholders involved, namely primary stakeholders, which include interning student, Higher Educational Institution (HEI) organisation intern placed, should maintain continuous communication through all three them benefit. This paper attempts examine perception about bridging internships, their advantages challenges.
